and it starts by passing the baton to our daughters with the wisdom & initiations we never received

The Blooming Maiden circles is an invitation for young girls (aged 9-12 or Gr.4/5/6*) to gather in community before their menstruation begins to learn about self-care practices & how their cycle is connected to their inner seasons. The intention of these circles is to replace any shame & embarrassment with excitement & empowerment regarding their upcoming menstruation & initiation into womanhood.

​These circles are not specifically about sex- they are focused on our bodies & the inner seasons connected to each phase of the cycle. However, due to the nature of these topics- questions about sex may come up in discussion
​

* If your daughter has already had her first bleed and is within the age range, then she is also welcome to join

(mothers & daughters for first hour- mothers welcome to stay & chat in lounge space and join the first potluck at 11:30am or leave and come back for 12pm)
